Although it is not definite as towhentheMaiden’sTowerwasbuilt, thetower’sarchitecturalstyle is saidbysomesourcesto be fromaround 340 BCE. • TheMaiden’sTower has beenusedformanydifferentpurposesover time, such as a taxcollectionareafrommerchantman, a defensetower, and a lighthouse.
