To provide the synergy for members to achieve common goals AOSEC is the regional organisation representing Further Education Colleges in South East England.  We work with colleges and partner organisations to provide world-class education and skills in the post compulsory education and training sector

  3. South East Colleges Key Facts • The total College income in the South East is £1.1 billion • 320,000 students on Further and Higher Education provision in Colleges • Educate 9,000 students from outside the UK • 55% of all Foundation Degree students are taught in Colleges

  4. South East Colleges Key Facts • Ethnic minority students make up 13% of students in South East Colleges, compared with 9% of the population of the South East • 9,000 South East College students are aged over 60 • 76% of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students in the South East study at a College
