  2. Summary Stanley Yelnats gets in trouble for something he didn’t do, blaming the bad luck on his great-great-grandfather, ElyaYelnats. Stanley is taken to Camp Green Lake where delinquent boys dig holes to learn discipline. He befriends Zero, a quiet and strange boy. Together, they find treasure that has to do with the Yelnats family, a dead criminal by the name of Kissin’ Kate Barlow, the Warden’s family and what Camp Green Lake was before it dried up.
