NLANR • The National Laboratory for Applied Network Research is a cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation for: • Measurement and Operations Analysis Team • network performance characterization; lead by SDSC/UCSD • National Center for Network Engineering • end-to-end engineering support; lead by PSC/CMU • Distributed Applications Support Team • user applications support/optimization; lead by NCSA/UIUC Internet2 Fall Mtg 00 -- ghb@dast.nlanr.net

Now the Update… • NLANR funding has been approved for continuation of one more year.This means that some projects of the teams that were on hold can be resumed such as: • NCNE: NLANR On-site Training and Tutorials • NCNE: Traffic Analysis and Automated Diagnosis • DAST Iperf and “Getting Started Guide” • MOAT: Passive Monitoring and Analysis & Active Measurement Program • The Clearinghouse Advanced Applications Database • The I2/NLANR Techs Workshop • Jan. 28-31 Unv Hawaii, Honolulu, HI Internet2 Fall Mtg 00 -- ghb@dast.nlanr.net
