  1. If Your Bible Could Talk

  2. Would it say… • My owner doesn’t open me in between church services (Psa. 1:2; Mt. 4:4)? • My owner reads me, but doesn’t really know me or understand me (Mt. 22:29, 31; 24:15; Lk. 10:26; 24:27, 32; Jn. 20:9; Acts 8:30-35; 13:27; 17:11; 18:24,28; Rom. 15:4; 2 Cor. 3:15)?

  3. Would it say… My owner reads only favorite passages, but nothing else (Acts 20:27)? My owner reads a verse to make a point, but doesn’t read the context above and below (Mt. 4:6; 2 Tim. 2:15; 2 Pet. 3:16)?

  4. Would it say… • My owner reads verses to make a point, but neglects verses elsewhere that teach more truth on that point (Mt. 4:7)? • My owner doesn’t know where basic teachings are found (Hos. 4:6; Lk. 4:17; Jn. 2:17; 8:17; 10:34; 15:25; Acts 23:5)?

  5. Would it say… My owner doesn’t believe that I am relevant for today (1 Pet. 1:25)? My owner doesn’t believe that I am the very word of God (2 Pet. 1:20-21)?

  6. Would it say… • My owner expects the wrong thing from me (2 Tim. 3:16-17) • My owner carries me in the hands, but not in the heart (1 Jn. 2:14)?

  7. Would it say… My owner reads me, but doesn’t obey me or allow me to change his/her life (Rev. 1:3)? My owner sometimes adds to or takes from my words (Rev. 22:18-19)?
