  6. 7.1 When is a Maul formed? Ball carrier on his feet + one player (minimum) from EACH side on their feet bound around that player (ball off ground) Module 7

  14. Law 17 – The Maul • No longer illegal for head and shoulders to be lower than hips • Players are able to defend a maul by pulling it down. • Current law re pulling down • RFU Ruling (Not at under 19 and below) • Have you found more pile ups? Module 7

  15. How are the ELVs going? Issues – apart from the maul Scrum – ability to police the 5m? Lineout – Player between touch and 5 metres…any other issues No gain in ground – communication?
