  2. http://www.twtpoll.com I created an online poll were there is one of the questions from the 5 that I made about the great depression and 4 multiple choices, and people are to vote on it, and I analyze the data I received in the end.

  11. What does the data tell us? The data shows that obviously a large number of people knew that the day the Great depression started was on October 24th 1929. 71% of the 28 who did this survey answered correctly, while the others, less informed, chose the other dates from my multiple choices. Most people know already that the great depression happened around the 1930’s, and the closest I think they thought was 1929. I know this because from the 28 who did this question, only one person, 4%, chose the 19th September 1943. This might suggest that a person who was really young or someone who didn’t know what I was talking about answered to a question like that. The question was obviously not a hard question and easy to search up online, maybe I should have found a question that is harder to find quickly, so that the data is more reliable.

  12. What did and didn’t surprised you about the results? To be honest, I wasn’t really surprised by the results, I knew that most people would get it right after I had it up for the first two days people only ever picked on the October, the correct answer. But what really surprised me was how people actually got the answer wrong and then chose September. It was obviously wrong, I don’t understand how thy got it wrong when its obvious that because the great depression was only for 10 years how could it be in 1943 when it started in 1929. Other than that nothing else really surprised me.

  13. What inferences can you make based on your data results? Based on my results, I can conclude that many people must have known something about the the great depression and about around what time it was, but not many really knew the exact dates. I also found out from the data that many people knew about the great depressions time seeming as 71% of them voted the correct answer.
