There was a creek and some fruit trees in the remote mountains of Algeria, with nobody around to take care of them..
They had a vision called ‘Permaculture and Superadobe’They took on the land that was once their ancestors’...
And first built a littleDome, to put theirtools and equipment in whilst working on their land
They started to dig ditches to collect the rainwater and called it ‘Swale’ design! And we think that’s just SWALE
The Trees already hanging in there for the last few decades were happy to see them..Almond trees said Marhaban!
Figs...fresh or dried they are such a delight!
Who can live without olives? Especially in this region...
They set to work and built Swales, Hugels, Ponds, a Super Adobe Cisternand Guilds around those existing old trees
