Arrival to the town of Veliko Turnovo and walking tour - the Old town with one of the most emblematic medieval churches is the temple “St. Forty Holy Martyrs”, leisure time for walk along the colorful craft’s street ”Samovodska charshia”. Continue to Arbanssi village /6 km/ – an architectural museum from Revival period. Accommodation at 3-star hotel Vinpalace or similar. 20.30 h - Dinner in typical restaurant at Arbanassy and optional seeing the impressive spectacle Light & Sound at Tsarevets . Overnight. . DAY 1 / 11 May 2014 DAY 2 - Monday - Veliko Turnovo - Kazanluk - Plovdiv Breakfast at the hotel. 09.00 h Walking tour of Arbanassi village and visiting the the Konstantsaliev house and The Church of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel. Continue to Turnovo for visiting the Mediaeval capital of Bulgaria, situated on the Tsarevets hill, a natural inaccessible fortress where the royal palace once was, encircled by the deep-cutting Yantra River. Visit of Wax Figures Museum at Tsarevets complex. Departure to Kazanlak /95 km/ - the center of the Rose Valley. Lunch and visiting the Kazanluk Thracian Tomb - one of the most significant monuments of the Thracian culture in the Bulgarian lands, included in the list of the global cultural inheritance of UNESCO, dated from 4th – 3rd c. BC with incredibly preserved wall paintings and burial artefacts. The tour continues with visit of authentic ethnographic complex in the Valley of Roses with rose gardens, old distillery for processing rose oil and degustation of rose products. In the late afternoon arrival in Plovdov - the second largest city in Bulgaria, an ancient crossroad between East and West with 24-centuries long history. Accommodation at 3-star hotel in Plovdiv. Dinner in a typical Bulgarian restaurant with dishes from the Rhodope mountain region and live music. Overnight. . DAY 2 / 12 May 2014

Leisure time at the pedestrian shopping zone for souvenirs and gifts. 13.00 h – Lunch in restaurant in the center of Plovdiv 14.00 h - Departure to Sofia. Transfer to Sofia airport for the return flight or optional extra overnight in Sofia..
