SmaR+T Architect Contest: new inspiration • Idea: let your imagination loose, play with space and present the original architectural and design projects or concepts with a usage of materials and technologies, fitting to the R+T Russia show profile. • Inspiration: up-to-date European solutions for inner and external sun protection, façade glazing, control and security systems. • Criteria: aesthetic and functional role of the used construction materials, their environmental friendliness as well as common contribution to the project’s concept.

12. Nomination 5: young talents ArchiR+Tpresents the special nomination for young generation of architects and designers - students and graduates of the profiled universities. Russian and international architects in the age of 30 are invited to take part in the contest personally or as a part of youngcreative teams. The works to be provided: conceptual projects, sketches and ideas of the young architects

14. Contest guidelines 1. Eligibility to compete. 1.1. Participation in the contest shall be open to: interior designers, architects, architectural bureaus and project organizations, students of architectural universities. 1.2. Contest organizing committee accepts projects realized during the last 2 years, beginning from 2011 and the new concepts. 2. The Requests for Participation in the contest: 2.1. The application form should be directed to the Contest Organizing Committee until the 1st of September 2013. 2.2. is to include project presentation, brief description and facility’s panoramic viewfor launched projects or sketch designs for the new projects.

15. Contest schedule • Until the 1st of September 2013: the Organizing Committee is collecting the contest applications. • Between 10th to 24th of September 2013: the Organizing Committee is forming a short-list of the best projects by the results of online poll and the estimation of the Board of Assessors. • On the second day of R+T Russia 2013 (26.09.2013) the Board of Assessors will define the winners of the contest by voting.

16. Prize fund • The authors of best projects will be given the R+T international diplomas • The authors of 5 best projects will get the R+T special prizes and the opportunity tomake an architectural tour to one of the legendary R+T exhibitions worldwide.
