The forms of technology that help us in learning and developing any language : Computers Soft-wares and application Plug-ins internet websites Kindle/e-Reader Smart phones Media-players
Who uses them ? Who uses them ? Some of them target the teacher, others the students. First : websites: Targets students : The teacher can create online web to interact students online. Students may create their own blogs ,and are asked to write about certain topics.
Compose a story/news article/book review and illustrate it with clip art or graphics. • Create a resume for any famous person in history • Compare and contrast any two (or more) things using a Venn diagram • Plan steps or activities with a concept web or map—or use special software designed for this purpose • Devise a character comparison chart in table format • Use a table to generate timelines for projects or to record historical events • Design a postcard highlighting your school, local community. • Publish a class or grade "newspaper" or student-produced newsletter or flyer (paper.li)
Targets teachers : Provides them with necessary materials, to help them in teaching their students the targeted skills , “reading and writing ”. Since technology is integrated into our lives we do not realize that what we are doing is a language skill development and we are learning a language . Like Google search engine that corrects your spelling mistakes :

Using Web sites to help teaching children writing and reading can be very helpful. However, in order to make the most of this type of interactive education experience. So, evaluate the web sites carefully ,see what would be most appropriate for their level , and work with your students to find out if these skills better for them or not ..
There are important factors we need to focus upon during the evaluation process : • Goals: What can the web site do , and how does this meet pedagogical goals ? • Presentation: How does the web site do it ? ( introduce or practice ), are there exercises or quizzes ? Is this appropriate for the students and goals ? • Appropriateness : How will student s be able to use the web site to meet goals ? • Outcomes: What do students produce with the web site. • Evaluation: what kind of appropriate feedback and evaluation does the web site offer ? • Notes : Add notes about what else is important to know about the technology . Then balance the results to decide if the web site is useful for your instruction .
