In ALL his works he was conscious of his example • Food allowance a burden? He wouldn’t take it • Did not buy land, busied self/servants with the work • Fed others at own expense • Lent money & grain without interest What was the result of his good example? The people listened to him!
Nehemiah 2:18 • 18 And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work. To work

Traits of Great Leadership Our example says who we are better than our words. • A trustworthy worker • Ever prayerful • Loyal to brethren • Gaining knowledge • Personally active in the work • Conscious of example Where are you, in your leadership for the Master?
