  3. Common Core Standard CC.6.RL.9 Compare and contrast texts in different forms or genres in terms of their approaches to similar themes and topics.

Directions • Compare Situations: 1 paragraph responses for each bullet point • Compare Characters: minimum 4 sentence responses for each bullet point • Compare Outcomes: this is your test grade; minimum 3 paragraphs; will need to edit and revise; will need to be typed, double spaced, 14 pt. font

  5. Compare Outcomesnotes • Opinions must be supported with reasons from the text • Reread your report and ask following questions to help revise: 1. Have I included enough details to create a clear description of the incident and the outcome? 2. Have I supported my recommendation with logical reasons and facts?
