  2. Malala Yousafzai As a young girl, Malala Yousafzai was not allowed to go to school. She fought for the right to an education, defying the Taliban in Pakistan. She survived an attack by the Taliban, and went on to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

  3. Cesar Chavez Cesar Chavez grew up working with his family as a migrant farmworker. Chavez dedicated his life to improving the treatment, pay and working conditions for farm workers.He led marches, boycotts and hunger strikes. He beat out racism, corruption and unfair treatment

  4. Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a minister and social activist, who led the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. He lead boycotts, sit -ins and marches. He faced violence, imprisonment and death.
