Many Obstacles Ahead When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. But he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. • Matthew 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. • James 4:17 - Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. 1.
