7. 8Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ

9. 9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—

13. I Timothy 1:13-17 13though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief,

16. 15The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. 15คำนี้เป็นคำจริงและสมควรที่คนทั้งปวงจะรับไว้ คือว่าพระเยซูคริสต์ได้เสด็จมาในโลก เพื่อจะได้ทรงช่วยคนบาปให้รอด และในพวกคนบาปนั้นข้าพเจ้าเป็นตัวเอก

17. 16But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.

18. 16แต่ว่าเพราะเหตุนี้เองข้าพเจ้าจึงได้รับพระกรุณา คือว่า เพื่อพระเยซูคริสต์จะได้ทรงสำแดงความอดกลั้นพระทัยทุกอย่าง ให้เห็นในตัวข้าพเจ้าซึ่งเป็นตัวเอกนั้น ให้เป็นแบบอย่างแก่คนทั้งปวง ที่จะเชื่อในพระองค์ แล้วรับชีวิตนิรันดร์

19. 17To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 17พระเกียรติและพระสิริจงมีแด่พระมหากษัตริย์ผู้ทรงพระเจริญอยู่นิรันดร์ ผู้ทรงเป็นองค์อมตะ ซึ่งมิได้ปรากฏพระองค์ ผู้ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าแต่องค์เดียวสืบๆไปเป็นนิตย์ อาเมน

20. Galatians กาลาเทีย21Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along with me. 1สิบสี่ปีต่อมาข้าพเจ้ากับบารนาบัสได้ขึ้นไปยังกรุงเยรูซาเล็มอีกและพาทิตัสไปด้วย

21. 2I went up because of a revelation and set before them (though privately before those who seemed influential) the gospel that I proclaim among the Gentiles, in order to make sure I was not running or had not run in vain.

23. 3But even Titus, who was with me, was not forced to be circumcised, though he was a Greek. 3แต่ถึงแม้ทิตัสซึ่งอยู่กับข้าพเจ้าจะเป็นคนกรีกเขาก็ไม่ได้ถูกบังคับให้เข้าสุหนัต

28. 7On the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised

31. 9and when James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

34. 11But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 11แต่เมื่อเคฟาสมาถึงอันทิโอกแล้วข้าพเจ้าก็ได้คัดค้านท่านซึ่งๆหน้าเพราะว่าท่านทำผิดแน่

35. 12For before certain men came from James, he was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcision party. 12ด้วยว่าก่อนที่คนของยากอบมาถึงนั้นท่านได้กินอยู่ด้วยกันกับคนต่างชาติแต่พอคนพวกนั้นมาถึงท่านก็ปลีกตัวออกไปอยู่เสียต่างหากเพราะกลัวพวกที่ถือพิธีเข้าสุหนัต

36. 13And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. 13และพวกยิวคนอื่นๆก็ได้แสร้งทำตามท่านแม้แต่บารนาบัสก็หลงแสร้งทำตามคนเหล่านั้นไปด้วย

37. 14But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”

38. 14แต่เมื่อข้าพเจ้าเห็นว่าเขาไม่ได้ประพฤติตรงตามความจริงของข่าวประเสริฐนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงว่าแก่เคฟาสต่อหน้าคนทั้งปวงว่า “ถ้าท่านเองซึ่งเป็นพวกยิวประพฤติตามอย่างคนต่างชาติไม่ใช่ตามอย่างพวกยิวเหตุไฉนท่านจึงบังคับคนต่างชาติให้ประพฤติตามอย่างพวกยิวเล่า”

39. 15We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; 15เราผู้มีสัญชาติเป็นยิวไม่ใช่คนต่างชาติที่มีบาป

40. 16yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

41. 16ก็ยังรู้ว่าไม่มีผู้ใดเป็นคนชอบธรรมได้โดยการประพฤติตามธรรมบัญญัติแต่โดยศรัทธาในพระเยซูคริสต์เท่านั้นถึงเราเองก็มีใจศรัทธาในพระเยซูคริสต์เพื่อจะได้เป็นคนชอบธรรมโดยศรัทธาในพระคริสต์ไม่ใช่โดยการประพฤติตามธรรมบัญญัติเพราะว่าโดยการประพฤติตามธรรมบัญญัตินั้นไม่มีมนุษย์คนใดเป็นคนชอบธรรมได้เลย

42. Titus ทิตัส3:5 5he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

43. 5พระองค์ได้ทรงช่วยเราให้รอดมิใช่ด้วยการกระทำที่ชอบธรรมของเราเองแต่พระองค์ทรงพระกรุณาชำระให้เรามีใจบังเกิดใหม่และทรงสร้างเราขึ้นมาใหม่โดยพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์

44. Galatians กาลาเทีย2:17 17But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not! 17แต่ถ้าในการที่เรากำลังขวนขวายจะเป็นคนชอบธรรมโดยพระคริสต์นั้นเราเองกลับเป็นคนบาปไปด้วยพระคริสต์จะทรงเป็นผู้ส่งเสริมบาปหรือไม่ใช่อย่างแน่นอน

45. 18For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor. 18เพราะว่าถ้าข้าพเจ้าก่อสิ่งซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้รื้อทำลายลงแล้วขึ้นมาอีกข้าพเจ้าก็ส่อตัวเองว่าเป็นคนทำผิด

46. 19For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. 19เหตุว่าโดยธรรมบัญญัตินั้นข้าพเจ้าได้ตายจากธรรมบัญญัติแล้วเพื่อจะได้มีชีวิตอยู่กับพระเจ้า

47. James ยากอบ 2:9-10 9But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 9แต่ถ้าท่านทั้งหลายลำเอียงท่านก็กระทำบาปและว่าตามธรรมบัญญัติท่านก็กระทำผิด

48. 10For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. 10เพราะว่าผู้ใดรักษาธรรมบัญญัติได้ทั้งหมดแต่ผิดอยู่ข้อเดียวผู้นั้นก็เป็นผู้ผิดธรรมบัญญัติทั้งหมด

49. Galatians กาลาเทีย3:10-11 10For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”
