Galatians Justified by Faith • Difference between Fruit and Gifts: • Work vs. Fruit: • The “Works” of the flesh = the TOILS, LABORS… what man does on his own, and the results that come from it. • Fruit of the Spirit = produce, product, result from something planted, rooted, patiently nourished • Man’s nature … • The flesh is the opposite of the Spirit (5:17), therefore, what the flesh produces is the opposite of what the Spirit will produce.
