  3. Cosmetology Students Information • The BLS projected that the national employment of hairstylists would increase by 7% from 2010-2020. The same decade, the employment of hairdressers, hairstylists and cosmetologists is expected to increase by 16%; manicurists and pedicurists can expect 17% growth. Skin care specialist may see a 25% increase.
