  3. Standard CA 14.0: Solve a quadratic equation by factoring. Goal: By the end of the lesson, students should be able to solve equations expressed as a product of factors equal to zero.

  4. The Principal of Zero Products For any rational numbers a and b, if ab=0, then a=0 or b=0, and if either a or b is zero, then ab=0

  5. Root A root is any value of a variable that makes the polynomial equal to zero.
