The Mission of SEMIC.EU Wherever Information is exchanged between • different technical or professional domains • different countries and languages • different public administrations we need to find the common ground of the meaning of what is exchanged – semantic understanding. This common understanding is what we refer to as interoperability asset. SEMIC.EU takes up this challenge to create the library, the shared memory in which these valuable results of practical collaboration are reposited and are made available to others. There is a need for memory in Europe!
