9. What is Systems Change Organizing? Individual Advocacy Individual Advocacy helps one person change something that is effecting them. For example, benefits, reasonable accommodation at work, etc. Systems Advocacy Systems Advocacy changes an entire system or structure from the way it currently works. For example, new housing construction, homeless shelters, paratransit services, voting machines, polling places, medical facilities, schools, etc. Let’s discuss some examples…
