  2. What is racism ? • the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

  3. Rejection among teens due to race • Many teens are getting rejected into clubs, social groups and activates in school just because of there race • Reasons • Skin color • The way they dress • The way they speak • Even fanatical classes

  4. Racism linked to depression in teens • Teens that encounter racism may have poor mental health like depression and anxiety . • Some articles show a strong link between racial discrimination and deter mental health such as behavior problems and low self esteem

  5. racist bullying • Racist violence harassment and abuse are closely related to and sometimes difficult to distinguish from, bullying. Racist bullying in schools can range from ill-considered remarks which are not intended to be hurtful to deliberate physical attacks causing serious injury Racist bullying can be identified by the motivation of the bully the language used and by the fact that victims are singled out because of the color of their skin the way they talk their ethnic grouping or by their religious or cultural practices. • examples • Racist comments • Racist jokes • Racist actions

  6. Stopping racism • Don’t Take The Abuse • You don't have to accept any form of racist abuse. Everyone no matter what their nationality or race has a right to live happily and free from discrimination • Be Prepared To Speak Out • Be prepared to speak out and tell people just how its affecting your life and your well-being. If you are going to alert someone to the fact that you're being threatened abused or bullied then do it properly. • Get Others Involved To Help You • Get other people involved in tackling the problem. If it’s happening to you or your friends then it will be happening to other people too
