  9. Equipment Mandatory Girls • Black mesh shorts • Can purchase on Spirit Wear online • Goggles (red) • Stick (may want 2 or at least 2 heads) • Cleats (no metal spikes) • Mouth guard (colored) • 2nd yr. + playersplease purchase own equipment • 1st yr. players may use SLA equipment if needed

BOYS Equipment Player Responsibility • Gloves • Helmet (red with black) • Pads (Shoulder & Arm) • Protective cup and athletic supporter • 2nd year players need have their own shafts • May want to have 2 sticks ready for play • Cleats • Mouth guard (colored) • Goalie • Goalie pants-pads • Any other pads for protection ( shin, arm, etc.)

U15 & U13 • Practice starts March 2nd • Mar. practices please see schedule on team webpage • Practice outside at Jr High West • April-May time (Weather permit) • 4 days a week practice NO PRACTICE WEDNESDAYS • MBSLA Game Scheduling Feb. 4th • Game Dates TBD (games are all scheduled by MBSLA) • Saturdays and or Sundays 2 games per Game Day • Busses NOT provided transportation provided by families • Rubble in the Bubble-April 6-7th • Rochester Preseason games Hotel information on website • Shakopee host Games Shakopee Invitational May 11-12 • U15 & U13 2 games on Sat. & 2 Games on Sun.

PRACTICEBoys & Girls • Please don’t enter the gym unless coaches are present • Keep all bags up against walls • Arrive no earlier than 15 min. of scheduled practice times in March • Please no outdoor shoes in gyms-bring extra shoes (due to the salt & snow ) • **Community Center** Practice • Coaches will tell players when to come- this is a conditioning time- run 2 miles and workout

  20. FUNDRAISER • Cub Foods Bagging • Date TBD • 2 days/ weekend • Need 3 parents volunteer per shift • 10 players per shift • Players need be 15 yrs + • Lacrosse Checkbooks • Sold for $20 each • Players sell 7 each • Players sell at own pace • Sell to family & friends

Transportation • All pick up for games will be located at baseball field where boys practice • Any away games bus transportation will be provided for ONLY Varsity & JV teams • Junior High-take activity bus to HS for games & practices starting in April • April 2nd please see Office for activity bus pass • There will be no games that require any player to leave early from school • 24 hour notice for any player going home with parents

  24. LAX TIME(Catch Time) Community Center: Need a picture I.D Members are FREE NON members are $2.00 per time Febuary 16-April 6 Saturdays 10:15-11:30 If you run on the track only 5-6 players at a time. Stop at front desk to sign in. ONLY 16 years and old may use the weight room

  26. Volunteering • 8 hours required per family • Players volunteering not count towards parents hours • $400.00 check given to SLA not cashed unless 8 hours are not done by June 10th • Dibs volunteers hours used to track • Once you register online family automatically registered into Dibs

Volunteer Opportunities • Chairs Plan details for event, organize volunteers and communicate to board members any budget needed or specific details for event • Co-Chairs Help the chair person with any duties • Volunteers Work with the Chair and Co chair person for specific event Events needing Volunteers *Boys & Girls Film & or Video or each game **Video needed for review games and also players may get copies for highlight videos for College *Boys & Girls Shakopee Tournament *Cub Food Bagging *Collect Game Volunteer names *Photo day for Boys & Girls and Shakopee Tournament w/CL!X Photography

  28. DIBS DIBS Please go to Shakopee Lacrosse website and create an account for your player. Log in allows families to sign up for DIBS Please remember your pass word This is also a tool used for players & families to receive emails. SLA will be using webmaster to send all emails so please put all emails that you want to receive information
