Certain signs can show "who did what to whom" through their movement.
The movement of the sign Indicates the subject and the object of the verb.
Example if I sign “shout" and start near my body and move the sign in your direction I am signing "I shout at you’’
Example If I start the sign by holding the sign away from my body and move the sign toward me, ending near my body... that would mean, "you shout at me’’
This "directionality" can be applied to many but not all signs.
