8. We Believe that: “Christ commits to His followers an individual work-a work that cannot be done by proxy” (MH, 147)

9. We Believe that: “One soul is of more value to heaven than a whole world of property, houses, lands, money” (6T, 21-22)

10. We Believe that: Evangelism, witnessing and discipleship are primary responsibilities of each believer saved by grace through faith. These are the reasons of our existence. With our lives like lighted candles, motivated with love to God, and love for souls, all must “GO & TELL THE WORLD” that CHRIST IS COMING VERY SOON. Many are perishing while waiting for our rescue. Be an instrument of God’s hands in saving them!

In order to enter into His joy, -- the joy of seeing souls redeemed by His sacrifice, -- we must participate in His labors for their redemption.” (Christian Service, 8 )

13. We Believe that: “God could have proclaimed His truth through sinless angels, but this is not His plan. He chooses human beings in the working out of His designs. The priceless treasure is placed in earthen vessels. Through men, His blessings are to be conveyed to the world. Through them, His glory is to shine forth into the darkness of sin. In loving ministry they are to meet the sinful and the needy, and lead them to the cross. And in all their work, they are to ascribe glory, honor, and praise to Him who is above all and over all” (AA, 330).

14. Saving souls is the first and supreme mission of our church, the primary business of every believer ( Matthew 28:19, 20).

15. Evangelism is not a work for a few specialists. Evangelism is not a sideline for God’s preachers or the laity. Evangelism is the work assigned to every believer and the only work He assigned to them.

16. Ethiopian Eunuch & Captain Cornelius were Both non-Jews • Cornelius was Italian • The other guy was Ethiopian • To the Jews, they were to be avoided and shunned • It was offensive to the Jews to come near them. Acts 10:28

17. Like the experience of saving Captain Cornelius and the Ethiopian eunuch, God still operates the same way as He continues His mission to rescue the rest of mankind.

19. “The angel sent to Philip could himself have done the work for the Ethiopian, but this is not God’s way of working. It is His plan that men are to work for fellow men.” The Acts of the Apostles, p. 109

20. There could be Corneliuses or Ethiopian eunuchs in the cities, in your work place or in communities where we live. These are some prominent men and women who are very sincere in their religious life and are living according to the light they have received.

21. God sees them as His sheep not yet in His flock. • God will design a plan to rescue them from the darkness of ignorance and lack of understanding.

22. God can even possibly use you to reach out to that someone. • If He will call you, like Peter and Philip, you better heed His call and do your part. He is going to do the rest.

23. Angels may guide you. • Holy Spirit may prepare the heart for you. • You still have to go and do what God has for you.

27. If God calls you and me to be the modern Peter or Philip to guide modern Corneliuses & Ethiopian eunuchs, then let us go for the rescue mission. Christ did it. He is our example. He is our Team Leader. Let’s be part of His rescue mission in saving humanity from the darkness of sin. Revival & reformation among us is a need that has a reason, and that reason is our MISSION to rescue God’s people.
