Nov. 11th • OPTION 2 – Receive up to 10 points added to your daily average. • Find a recent article that discusses/ represents the culture of another country. • Complete the following in paragraph format: • Summarize the article • Discuss the culture traits that are represented in the article • Draw a map that shows the country/ region discussed in the article • Print a copy of the article or email link to: melissa.wong@nisd.net

Nov. 11th • OPTION 3 – receive up to 10 points added to your daily average • Listen to the Putomayo World Music Hour on KSYM – 90.1 on Saturdays at 2 pm. – Nov. 1st or 8th (Or find it using the Tune-In app) • As you listen, complete the following: • Where is the music from? Create a map that shows the location. • What style of music is it? What instruments are used? • What other information did the DJ discuss? • What did you think about the music? • Any additional comments?
