P3 have been learning about water in Term 3. We have learned that not everybody in the world has access to clean water. We use water to keep ourselves healthy by drinking lots every day, and by washing ourselves and our food. This stops germs from spreading. We wouldn’t like it if we couldn’t flush the toilet. One in ten people in the world don’t have a clean supply of water. Having clean water is Number 6 of our Global Goals that we are working on in Papdale. Last Wednesday we had a go Blue4Water day to help the charity WaterAid. This charity helps people by working with communities to give everyone a clean water supply. We had a lot of fun dressing up in blue and all our learning was on a blue theme. We finished up with a blue feast! We raised over £60!! THANK YOU!!
