Patrick Wilson • Patrick has Cerebral Palsy • In 2010, Patrick attended a Borders multi-sport festival and was identified by Scottish Sport Regional Development manager as having potential in Boccia. • In 2011, Patrick competed in his first SDS National Championships where he picked up a bronze medal. Shortly after, he joined the Scotland squad. • Patrick then went on to compete in the British championships and won his first gold medal at the SDS National Champs. • In 2013 Patrick appeared for GB at Cheshire International, winning silver. • Patrick has also been selected in a GB core squad working towards the 2016 Paralympic games. • In the Future, Patrick aims to be amongst medals at the British Championships and be selected for the Bis-Fed World Champs in Beijing.
