  1. Worship Leader: We gather together in Jesus’ name All: Help us to explore, discover and learn together

  2. Who is in your family?

  3. The Church is like a family too. For years people have been going to church on Mothering Sunday especially to remember how the Church cares for them like their mother. The Church cares for our school family too.

  4. In families, and in churches, everyone has different gifts and talents. No two families, or two churches, are exactly the same. What do you do which is special in your family or church?

  5. In I Corinthians chapter 12 Paul wrote about how he saw us as different parts of one body – some people might be “like” an ear, some might be “like” a foot – but everyone is needed and important.

  6. This week’s Lent Challenge Bishop Stephen and Bishop David are challenging us to say thank you to our own family and our church family.

  7. God our Father, Bless all mothers, fathers and carers as they look after their families. Give them strength and wisdom, kindness and patience, as they protect their children and help them to grow. We ask that each and every one of us may play our part in making our own family home (and church) a supportive and happy place to be. Amen
