Header 包括8位,属于固定格式,代表EDID起始位 Vendor / Product Identification 包括10位,里面包括了显示器的Manufacturer Name ,Product Code ,SN,生产日期(年和周). 其中, Manufacturer Name 的编译方法如下图 例如HP的Manufacturer Name为HWP,从A开始,H是8,转成二进制为 1000;W是23,转成二进制为10111;P是16,转成10000.全部合在一起是 10001011110000,取后8位转成16进制为F0,取前8位,不够加0,转成16 进制为22,依先后顺序存进去.08h为22,09h为F0. 但是Product Code 正好相反,是从后往前存,例如:HP vs17 Product Code 为2647,0Ah为47,0Bh为26.

  4. EDID Structure Version / Revision 按照客户要求,一般都是1.3版. Basic Display Parameters / Features 1 Video Input Definition的编译方法见下图

  5. 2 Max Horizontal and Vertical Image size 例如:HP vs17的H值为33,转成16进制为21,V值为27,转成16进制为1B 3 Display Transfer Characteristic (Gamma) 根据Panel的客户不同,Gamma的值也不同.公式为 (gamma x 100) – 100 例如:gamma=2.4 2.4x100-100=140 将140转成16进制为8C. 如果这个位置设成FF,则表示gamma值没有定义.

  6. 4 Feature Support(DPMS) 具体编译方法见下图

  7. Color Characteristic 包括10位,其中Rx Ry Gx Gy Bx By Wx Wy 由所用的Panel spec提供.例如: Rx为0.610 转成16进制后为1001110001,取后8位01110001转成16进制存入Red_x的位置,余下的前两位与Ry Gx Gy的余下的两位共同组成一个8位的二进制数,转成16进制后存入Red / Green Low Bits, Blue / White Low Bits 同理.

  8. Established Timing 包括3位,用于存储显示器可支援的mode,具体见下图

  9. Standard Timing Identification 1 具体编译方法见下图 例如:1280x1024@60Hz 1280/8 – 31=129 转成16进制为81 1280:1024=5:4 60-60=0 所以转成二进制为10000000转成16进制为80

  14. Extension Flag Indicates the number of (optional) Extension EDID blocks to follow. Checksum This byte should be programmed such that a one-byte checksum of the entire 128-byte EDID equals 00h.
