Pancakes • Pancake is unleavened cake, which is produced by frying flour, milk and eggs, and that is especially popular in Central Europe. Takes the form of very thin pancake. I go usually filled (one side oiled and then rolled up or folded), the most sweetly. A typical implementation is a fruit, whether fresh or in the form of jam or compote.
Pies • Pies are traditional Slovak food. Prepared from potatoes, flour, eggs, salt and additives. A common accessory is a curd or jam the stuffing, bread crumbs, cinnamon and powdered sugar for sprinkling and butter.
Dumplings • Gnocchi are pasta, one of the traditional Slovak dishes. The main raw materials for cooking the potatoes, flour (and possibly egg). The best known are sheep cheese dumplings.
