  2. BRYNDZOVÉ HALUŠKY • The most popular food is traditional bryndzové halušky . It is a Slovak potato dumpling dish made with sheep's milk cheese (bryndza). Bryndza is a type of sheep’s milk cheese produced in several regions in Slovakia and one particular region of Poland. Halušky usually served with a glass of sour milk called žinčica.

  3. Recipe • Ingredients: • Potatoes – 3 pieces • Flour – 5 tablespoons (tbsp) • Egg – 1 piece • Bacon • Bryndza • Salt

  4. Steps • Start by peeling and shredding potatoes. You can use a cheese grater. • Drain the water and stir in with potatoes andflour.

  5. Add salt. Then use a kitchen knife and a cutting board to cut pieces andthrow them into a large pot of salted, boiling water.

  6. Let cook for few minutes. In the mean time, cut bacon into small squares and fry them.

  7. Strain the dumplings. Use a wooden spoon to clear off  the water.

  8. Take your bryndza and stir it in. • Take bacon and put on it.
