CSA – Gr. 7 • What will you learn: • Desktop Publishing • Spreadsheets • Database • Presentations • You will use the computer daily • You will use the Internet daily for obtaining and submitting student work using my webpage and your Google drive accounts.
How will I be graded? • Classwork 50% • Tests/Projects 30% • Participation* 20% *100% participation is turning in ALL work Click here
CSA – Gr. 6 • What you will learn: • Basic keyboarding skills using the touch method • Basic skills in Word processing as well as document formatting • Basic computer concepts • You will use the computer daily • You will use the Internet daily for obtaining and submitting student work using my webpage and your Google drive accounts.
How will I be graded? • Classwork 40% • Timed Writings 25% • Tests/Projects 20% • Participation* 15% *100% participation is turning in ALL work Click here
ECD – Gr. 8 • This course will introduce you to the world of work • Increasing self-awareness • Helping to make wise educational decisions in career planning • Helping to make wise occupational decisions in career planning • You will understand • Interests, attitudes, values, personality, learning styles, and skills • How interests, values, and personality influence career choices • Skills needed for employment • How to make a career plan for high school and college

What materials and supplies do I need? You must have the following with you daily. • Pen and/or pencil • Notebook with paper
Teacher Expectations • Take responsibility for your own learning • Be on time • Be prepared • Pay attention • Use time wisely (stay on task) • Be respectful to yourself, your class, your teacher and your school • No food, candy, or gum in the computer lab • Remain seated until you dismissed by the teacher
Internet Usage • You must have an Acceptable Use Policy form on file in the school • Access sites that are authorized by the classroom teacher only. • When submitting work from home, the file must be submitted in a format compatible with MS Office 2010. Ask your teacher for directions before submitting work from home

Bathroom Break Procedure • Go to teacher’s desk and ask for permission • Get your bathroom pass signed • Use the bathroom in this building • Do not ask to go to the bathroom … • During the 1st 15 minutes of class • During the last 10 minutes of class
Report any changes in your work area/computer system immediately
Straighten your work area before leaving class • Keyboard in front of your monitor with the mouse to the right of it. • Monitor at the corner of the desk or workspace • Log off the computer • Push your chair under
