What Is A Subsidized Health Insurance Plan
The Chambers of commerce group insurance plan was established in 1970 to fill demand from the small members of Chambers of commerce and Boards of trade throughout Canada. Today, the plan covers more than 35,000 employers and 100,000 employees nationwide, offering small and medium sized businesses the same protection of a comprehensive group health insurance plan normally reserved for large corporations. However, because the business world has changed considerably, it is now necessary to offer employee assistance programs and other employee benefit plans to help the small business owners meet these new challenges.
