Skyscrapers

1. Skyscrapers By ; Ariah Hernandez

2. What did you learn from doing this project ? I learned that it takes a lot of time , man power , and a whole bunch of cement , steal , and glass to design and build a skyscraper.

3. What was challenging about this project ? Trying to find out the average or actual size of the buildings we were researching. Drawing it was easy but finding all the correct information was pretty difficult.

4. How can you use what you learned from this project in the future? If I some how wanted to be an architect some day , I would need to know how tall it needs to be,

5. How did you use Math , Science , English, and History in that project? I used Math by measuring how tall the building was supposed to be, and how wide it was. I used Science by doing research on how the building was able to stand without collapsing. I used English by writing information about the different types of skyscrapers in the world. And lastly, I used History by researching all the different types of skyscrapers there were, when they were first made, and how they were built.

6. What is something about technology that you’ve learned this semester that you didn’t know before? Technology has been used since the beginning of time and that technology is in everything we use daily. Obviously its in computers or any other electronics, when we walk to places or use different types of transportation and go to work or school . But I never realized everything is considered to be using technology. Such as food , I never thought that was considered technology ? And the same wiclothes.
