Course Description • This course prepares students to think strategically and to understand the basic tools and processes public relations practitioners use to reach and communicate with their publics. An applied writing laboratory approach is used to allow students to practice and hone writing skills for a wide range of public relations activities.

  3. Weighing of Assessment: • 5% for Assignments • 5% for Attendance • 10% for Quizzes • 10% for mid-term exam (week 6) • 10% for mid-term exam (week 12) • 60% for final exam

  4. Lecture Objectives • To Distinguish General Knowledge about Public Relations.

  5. Planning and Management • Public Relations Definitions. • The primary objective of public relations. • Is understanding the primary purpose of public relations?
