  1. Program PAL using BP by Svilen Piralkov

  2. Running BP Win • Open BPWin from the Deskop • When Registration prompt appears click “NO”

  3. Main Window • Click “Device” to select the PAL to be used

  4. Select Device • Choose “Lattice GAL22V10/B/BQ/C/D” and click “Select” • Verify that the Device selected is the same as the chip used.

  5. Main Window • Once the device is selected click “Data Pattern” to load the JED file

  6. Data Pattern • Make sure “Hexadecimal” is selected • Click “Open”

  7. Load File • Click “Browse…” to choose the JED file to load it to the PAL

  8. Select a File • Select the file and click Open

  9. Load File • Click OK

  10. Data Pattern • Click OK

  11. Main Window • Verify that the “Device” and “Data Pattern” are the ones desired • Check the following boxes: • Continuity • Erase • Program • Verify & Test Twice • Secure & Test Twice • Click “PROGRAM”

  12. Program PAL • Click “Ok”

  13. Fuse Warning • If this window appears click “Ignore” • After programming the device the software should return back to the main window

  14. PAL Programmed • No errors should appear and “Function Complete” should be displayed at the bottom.
