  6. LSS1 dismantelling – compressed air lines • Compressed air lines for valves have the separation valve wrt the main line at the level of the vault of the tunnel! Not easy to reach without a ladder, in a radioactive area! • Bill Bannister contacted to discuss possible modification of the main line to make it easier to access for future interventions.

  7. LSS1 – dismantelling: dose overview • Estimated collective dose: 0.9 μSv • Measured collective dose: 0.6 μSv • Estimated individual dose: 0.19 μSv • Measured individual dose: 0.12 μSv • Participants: • Anthony • Chiara • Karl • Russian team • Jarmo

  8. LIU-Projects: LSS1 & LSS5 status • LSS1 ECR under approval. Still some points to be clarified with the IWG  meeting this week with Christine and Aaron. • LSS5 layout finally completed: ECR to be updated before circulation for approval  deadline this week. • LSS5 dump production: 2 months delay expected because of issues encountered during the HIPping of the cooling plateson critical path for the planning (tunnel installation from May  July).

  9. SPS LS2 Update 29/04/2019 QD aperture restrictions updates • 2+ and 3– survey at the QD-MBB interconnections, 6 non conformities found. • Baseline: check all the QD interconnections as these positions are opened for the QJackscampaign. Intervention in case of non conformity only on the SSS that are part of the 25 positions campaign. • OP proposal: treat anyhow the found non conformities. Easily implement now as the magnet campaign is still ongoing in these areas but impact on the planning will be studied along with the progress of the investigations and the number of non conformities.

  10. LSS2 – ZS dismantelling • Planned for the 1st week of July; • Coordinated by TE-ABT; • Expected collective dose: 0.9 μSv; • Expectedindividual dose: 0.2 μSv.

  11. Pressure map Vacuum sector

  12. DASHBOARDS Ion pumps consolidation in 5+ and 6-

  14. SPS LS2 Update 29/04/2019 Activities in the upcoming 2 weeks • ZS – LSS2 dismantelling; • MKP venting – QDA119 jacks exchange + vertical dogleg; • Usual on going activities;

  15. Feedbacks • Smooth collaboration with 40-30; • Collaboration with the russian team: somehiccups due to lack of understanding, no major impact so far.
