Some Questions to Consider… • Has anyone ever taken a classroom management course? • Did you learn about classroom management before your student teaching placements? • Did you feel prepared going into the classroom with your classroom management techniques? • Does anyone have a horrifying story to share that deals with classroom management?
What can we do? • Since I had no idea what to do to discipline a student, I found some youtube videos that deal with students misbehaving in the classroom. After we watch each video we will answer a couple questions with our tables.

Some Tips… • It is essential we learn how to control our class! • Start the year with a strict discipline plan and make students aware of your expectations! Make your rules heard. • Deal with disruptions immediately. Maybe add a little humor at times. • Be fair • Relate to your students! • Over plan every day. • Start fresh • BE CONSISTENT. Do not be that teacher who says one thing and does not follow through.
