  5. Lots more to do! What must you do? What goes in the bowl first? flour Sieve the flour. cinnamon powder Crush the cinnamon. nutmeg Grate the nutmeg. sugar Weigh the sugar.

  6. Which ingredients are added next? Mix together all the dry ingredients. How are they prepared? breadcrumbs The bread has been grated into crumbs. The suet or fat has been grated. suet(fat) The dried fruit has been washed and weighed. dried fruit

  7. Mix in the wet ingredients. Plenty of work to do! Then what is stirred in? chopped apple Chop the apple. lemon rind and lemon juice Grate the lemon and squeeze the juice. an egg Beat the egg.

  8. Stir the pudding 3 times and make a wish! What is added last? The ale!

  9. Boil it in a pot of hot water! How is the pudding cooked? Tie the pudding in a cloth.
