To expose participants to the basic concept of biotechnology and biosafety as well as global, regional and national trends in the diffusion of the technology To provide a comprehensive overview of the legal and institutional frameworks for regulation, coordination and decision-making on GMOs in Kenya. To introduce participants to the general rules of effective science communication and principles of biosafety communication To impart knowledge and skills for Provision of accurate and balanced information in order to demystifying public concerns Design & package comprehensive briefs/messages on biotechnology & biosafety for diverse interest groups Objectives
