  2. How much time is spent on managing class behavior? • About 50% • ClassDoJo was designed to reduce managing class behavior and spend more time on teaching.

  3. What is a ClassDoJo? • It is a FREE, web-based tool designed to help teachers improve student behavior in their classrooms quickly and easily. 

  4. It instantly reinforces good behavior by allowing teachers to easily award feedback points for behavior in class.

  5. ClassDojo can run on an interactive whiteboard, a computer connected to a projector, or even just a smartphone, tablet or iPod touch • You can set a class goal of behavior, attendance, homework, reading books, etc. • You can also print out reports to see the progress of your students.

  6. Can students use this program? • Yes! They are given a code from the teacher to go home and log in. They can create their own avatar and change the look when they would like. • They can log in to see how they are progressing with their behavior, attendance, books etc.

  7. Can parents use ClassDoJo? • Yes! They are able to access this site and check in to see how their child is making out during class.

  9. My Thoughts • I have never used this before but have heard of it. I decided to research this program because I would like to use it at the start of next year. • I think the students will be excited and want to do well in their behavior.
