Meeting Questions • DIRECTIONS: WRITE YOUR GROUP’S ANSWERS DOWN ON A SHEET OF NOTEBOOK PAPER. • How has your main character changed? • What was his/her biggest obstacle and how did he/she overcome it? • What was the biggest lesson he/she learned? • Do you like the way the book ended or would you have ended it differently? Explain.

Work on the character suitcase (don’t forget to add your own item representing your character inside the suitcase and write the explanation) • 4. Get the tone and mood worksheet off of the front table

  11. Questions after video… Do you think you have it better or worse than lots of kids around the world? Do you think the kids in poor countries are more thankful than you? How do you think one of those kids would react to switching lives with you? How would you react? Do you ever pressure your parents to buy you material things that you don’t really need? Compare what you complain about to what the Australian kids complain about. Are there any similarities? What do you think one of those children’s wish list would look like compared to yours?
