Academic Success for New ASB Students Welcome to ASB – Now, Work Hard to Stay Here • GPA Gate @ 48 Credits http://ww2.ramapo.edu/asb/student-resources.aspx 2.5 ≤ GPA You’re in!! 2.3 ≤ GPA < 2.5 Automatic Probation (16 Credits) 2.0 ≤ GPA < 2.3 Appeal or Explore Another Major GPA < 2.0 Choose Another Major outside of ASB • Don’t Bite Off More Than You Can Chew • No More Than 16 Credits • Avoid Higher Level Courses • Be Realistic about School/Work Schedule • Study, Study, Study • Two Hours of Study per Hour in Class

Academic Success for New ASB Students Off-Campus Study • Must Meet College Residence Requirements (Last 32 Credits at Ramapo College). • Courses Taken at two-Year Schools Can Never Count Toward 300-level and Above Ramapo Courses. • Students with 65 of More Credits May Only Take Courses at Accredited Four-Year Schools. • Must Have Completed and Approved “Off-Campus Study Request Form” Before Taking the Course.

Professional Success for New ASB Students Career Pathways Program • Completion is Required for Graduation • Three Modules Required: • Career Exploration: Self-Assessment • Written Communication: Resume, LinkedIn Profile • Interview Practice • Visit the ASB Career Office in ASB-513 • Pam Cohen, Assistant Director and Career Advisor • Cynthia Michalewski, Career Pathways Coordinator
