RWE IT Czech - history RWE Systems Czech was established DC server room E in Brno was built Keeping the high standard of technology and services DC server room H in Brno was built Changing name to RWE IT Czech 2000 2004 2006 2008 2011 1stof July 2006, RWE Systems Czech was established from RWEEnergy Customer Services CZ, due to Agreement on transfer of a part of enterprise. Services are provided on the basis of quality assured and certified processes • Windows & Linux Server • IBM system p (AIX, SUN server) • Blade Systems • Virtual server solution (VMware) • Central DMZ with redundant connectivity to Internet • Storage and back – up systems • Midrange servers in HA configuration • Data de-duplication technology • SAP, Oracle, MS SQL Consolidated DC Brno General Layout

Day to day Operations RWE IT Czech daily operations consist mainly of • Operation and administration of servers, databases, applications • Service Assurance for servers: virtual, high availability solutions • Operating basis IT Infrastructure: Active Directory, IP Services, Email services, File services • Back-up & Restore, Housekeeping jobs • Proactive monitoring • Incident solving IT Team Tasks and competencies SAP

Requests and Projects In service request RWE IT Czech reacts on customer demands • Installation of new systems • Providing database copies, system patches and regular updates • Performance tuning • Space management • Optimization of current assets • We are also involving in several projects with our customers / partners within RWE Group on national and internationallevel • Czech Republic – RWE Transgas, Jihomoravskáplynárenská etc. • Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Great Britain etc. SAP and International Cooperation Tasks and competencies
