Our Problem • We would like to further develop our IMS so we can keep track our delivery trucks and link us up with our manufacturer so they know when we need more inventory. • What are some software development techniques our computer engineers can use to get us on the right track that aren’t too costly or time consuming? • How long might an upgrade like this take? • How much will this cost to implement? • Is this a logical move for a small distribution company, or any kind of small company (cost benefit analysis)?

What the Class said • “Very informative! The video was entertaining and I liked the realistic recommendations. I thought this was one of the more well-rounded and interactive class presentations. The slides we're also not very boring. Good job!” • “Made me sit on the edge of my seat the whole time.” • “The slides were really easy to read and visual. It linked all the readings together. I liked how you listed the advantages and disadvantages of the different techniques.” • “Try not to read from the note cards as much.” • “A little less reading from the slides.” • “This is more personal however I believe it would be helpful if the CIO and CFO of your group stopped talking during class. It makes it difficult to concentrate on the presentations.”
How we felt about the presentation • We felt that the presentation as a whole was very informative and professional. • Gave a great overview of the subject and great ideas for our business. • We enjoyed all the options that were laid out for us and what each one had to offer. • Recommendations were well rounded and plausible.
What the Class said • “Very detailed and thorough” • “I thought the reading list was organized well with proper division of articles into different sections! • “It looked too busy. There were so many titles and lists on the page.” • “The reading list could have been shorten- not so many articles were needed.” • “Too many readings”
How we felt about the readings • For the most part, we agreed with how the class felt. • Readings were formatted nicely. • Very informative, easy to comprehend. • However, a bit too many readings were included. • Repetitive at times
Our Plan of Action • Use Agile! • We agreed with Geek’s Sporting Good’s recommendation. • We feel that the adaptability and quickness features coincide with our goals. • Emphasis on teamwork was also important to us.
