Pitfalls of the Proposal The most common error of proposal writers is to confuse this type of report with the feasibility report, another type of report that attempts to solve a problem by fairly comparing and contrasting several solutions to that problem. A proposal deals with a problem, too, but it focuses on just one solution to the problem, providing as much convincing evidence as possible to persuade a reader to accept the single solution being offered.
