  8. School Colors- Mascot • There are no school colors or mascot because sfai is an art institute not a university.

  9. Art Programs • There is a lot of different art programs at sfai like visual and performing arts that include singing, dancing, painting, sculpting, and costume designing!

  10. Intramural Activities • There are no intramural activities at sfai because its an institute not a university it’s a specialized school you go there for a specific purpose: the arts, not sports.

  11. Student Life • There are a lot of activities to do in your spare time at the San Francisco Art Institute like Yoga Classes, Art Contests, Dance and singing competitions, and most of them can become extra credit!

  12. Living Quarters • There is a few different choices for dorms if you want to live on campus. You can share a dorm, which is the cheapest choice You can also have your own room which is a more expensive choice. You do have to live on campus as a freshman

  13. Degrees Offered • There are degrees in: • Acting • Singing • Dancing • Sculpting • Painting • Directing

  14. Majors offered • Master of fine arts and Summer master of fine arts (MFA) (SMFA) • Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Fine Arts (PB) • Three new master of arts in theory of history and Contemporary Art (MA) • Urban Studies (MA) • Exhibition and Museum Studies (MA)

  17. Financial Assistance Opportunities • There is a contest that if you win you will get some money to pay to go there.

  18. Application Requirements • You need to write 1 essay and fill out a very thick application that includes various drawing parts.

  19. Admission Requirements • Need a deep passion for the various arts. • Need to send pictures or videos of yourself or your art
