How to protect yourself • Software • Norton, McAfee, Anti-Malwarebytes etc • Don’t be • Pay attention to the details STUPID!
Examples • Most recent • Case of Tyler Clementi (Friedman) • Roommate and his friend made a live feed of Clementi while he had a lover over • Used Twitter to cyber bully Clementi • Encouraged Clementi to eventually commit suicide by jumping off the GW bridge • Clementi also posted on Facebook immediately before the tragic act saying “jumping off gw bridge sorry”
