  3. Local business crime issues across London Extensive MOPAC consultation with businesses highlighted a number of issues : • Police response • Reporting • Protective security and crime prevention • Landscape • Specific issues raised by BIDs: police resourcing and response.

  4. What are we going to do about it? • Final strategy: end June 2014 • ‘Concordat' – new set of agreements between MOPAC/police/businesses

  5. How the strategy will help BIDs in particular • Accountability • Police response • Business crime reduction partnerships Also: • Business resilience centre • Cyber crime unit • Predictive crime mapping to track organised criminal retail gangs • Business attitudes survey
